Questions and Answers

Q. Do I have to book in advance?
    A. Not usually, Please check the availability on the courses page. Sometimes our classes get full in which case please call us and you will be placed on a waiting list for a space.
 
Q. When does the next beginner's course start?
    A. There is no start date for the courses, they run constantly and you can start at any point.
 
Q. Are all of the courses suitable for beginners?
    A. Yes, the classes are suitable for complete beginners and usually contain a mix of beginners and more advanced students who are happy to help.
 
Q. What should I wear?
    A. Please wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing that will not restrict your movements. Jogging pants, T-shirt and trainers are ideal.
 
Q. Do I need to bring anything with me?
    A. No, although many people do bring a bottle of water, we also sell a small range of drinks and snacks at the centre.
 
Q. How long do the courses last?
    A. At The Daolin Centre, everyone trains and learns at their own pace. Therefore the courses last as long as you need to be with us or until you have compleated your training goals.
 
Q. How much are the classes?
    A. All classes can be paid for on a Pay As You Go basis and are £5 per person, £4 for students and OAP's. We also have monthly payment plans which make the classes a little cheaper. You can pay with cash, cheque or by PayPal.
 
Q. Where is the centre?
    A. The Daolin Centre is based in Penwortham, Preston, Lancashire, we are between number 18 and 20 on Chesmere Drive. Please use PR1 0RA for your SatNav.
 
Q. Do you run Children's courses?
    A. Yes, we occasionally run a special Kung Fu class for children but if they are 8+ then they are welcome to attend our regular classes.
 
Q. Is there a membership fee, charge for uniform or any other costs?
    A. No, you only pay for classes, we have no hidden costs and are very open about our pricing.
